The Only Craft Beer Brewery On The Tampa Riverwalk

The on-site, 2,100-square-foot Ulele Spring Brewery in front of our beer garden creates 15 U.S. barrels (465 gallons) per brew. We offer fresh-brewed lagers and ales using only the finest malted grains, hops, yeast, fresh fruit and locally sourced honey. We create these beers using American equipment with no artificial preservatives of any kind. Our tank-to-tap regular inventory includes Rusty Red, Water Works Pale, Ulele Light, Magbee’s Honey Lager and Wedding Beer. We also have seasonal and other specialties, all made on-site by brewmaster Tim Shackton.

Unlike most breweries, our restaurant's in-house Ulele Spring Brewery keeps all product close to home. You will only find our popular Rusty’s Red Ale and Wedding Beer on Ulele's tap. Our brewmaster builds his brews using Germany’s Reinheitsgebot purity laws and tailors the flavors to match Ulele’s menu of native seafood and locally available ingredients.

From riverfront draft to thoughtfully canned.

After years on tap at Ulele, our lager makes its canned debut in December 2025.

The Lager That Led the Way

Ulele Lager is a classic German-American–style lager that has been poured on draft at the restaurant for years, becoming one of our most enjoyed and best-selling beers. Brewed with Fresh From Florida® grains and noble European hops, it opens with an expressive floral aroma, followed by delicate noble bitterness and a clean, slightly dry malt finish. Simply put, it is a little less hoppy than Heineken and a bit more expressive than Stella.

Brewed using traditional cold fermentation and extended cold conditioning, Ulele’s International Lager delivers exceptional clarity and crispness, making it a versatile pairing for dishes of all kinds. After hundreds of thousands of pints poured in our taproom, this beer felt like the natural choice for our first canned release.

To bring Ulele Lager from tap to can, Ulele Spring Brewery partnered with Tampa Bay Brewing Company, working closely with Head Brewmaster Tim Shackton to preserve the beer’s original character while refining its canned expression. The result is the same trusted lager, now thoughtfully packaged to enjoy beyond the riverfront.

The can design features Princess Ulele, a powerful symbol of strength, heritage, and connection to the land. Her image honors the story behind the restaurant and the brewery, representing the spirit that has guided Ulele since the beginning. As our inaugural canned release, Ulele Lager fires on all cylinders and feels right at home on tables throughout the 1905 Family Of Restaurants.

We invite you to enjoy this timeless classic alongside tapas, red-sauced pasta dishes, and broiled fish, whether poured fresh at Ulele or shared from the can wherever the table is set.
